Replacing intake hose (between air-mass flow
sensor and manifold) (S62)
Note:
The removal and installation of the left intake hose is
described in the following text. The same procedure applies
to the removal and installation of the right intake hose.
Release hose clamps (1).
Unclip cable of air-mass flow sensor from cable holders (2).
Remove intake hose (3).
Installation:
Replace hose clips.
Check sealing ring (1) on intake air manifold for seating and
damage and replace if necessary.
Installation:
To aid installation, apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to
sealing ring (1).

and replace if necessary.
