Original BMW CCC conversion kit
E60, E63, E64 with basic fittings for CCC (option 6UA).
Situation:
The customer is able to use the Car Communication Computer (CCC) conversion kit to
convert a vehicle with option 6UA.
Please inform your customer that he will be required to pay either the difference between
the options 606 and 609 as per special equipment price list or the special equipment
added price for option 609.
The conversion offer will last for a duration of 12 months starting April 2004.
The conversions described in this Service Information bulletin do dot constitute a case for
warranty.
Affected vehicles:
E60, E63, E64 with basic fittings for CCC (option 6UA).
Manufacturing period:
Start of series production until March 2004:
Procedure:
When the customer has made his decision, you should order the conversion kit needed for
the vehicle.
The following parts to be removed must be returned in the parts set packaging so that the
deposit levied on the conversion kit can be reimbursed:

6.5 inch on-board monitor,
-
M-ASK
-
Navigation DVD Business (only vehicles with option 606).
The parts listed must be returned in accordance with the specifications for shipping and
delivery (please refer to guidelines for exchange parts).
Note:
The functionality of the navigation system corresponds to the current series status
and may differ from the details given in the Owner's Handbook.
