Replacing both timing chains (M47)
Special tools required:
•
11 4 120
•
11 8 740
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove engine.
•
Mount engine on assembly stand.
•
Remove cylinder head.
•
Removing oil pan.
•
Remove timing case.
Lock chain tensioner (1) at bottom with special tool 11 4 120 .
Remove chain tensioner (1).
Release screws (2).
Remove slide rail (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque: 11 11 3AZ
