Removing and installing or replacing battery
positive lead (between starter and jump start
terminal) (N47)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove front underbody protection
Notes on disconnecting battery
Disconnect battery negative lead
Detach B+ lead at jump start terminal.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 12 52 4AZ
Disconnect B+ lead at alternator.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 12 52 2AZ
Unclip B+ lead from holders.
Disconnect B+ lead at starter.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 12 52 3AZ
Remove B+ lead.
Add final details to vehicle.
