Removing and installing/sealing guide tube
for oil dipstick (M54)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Drain off engine oil
•
Remove intake hose
Release screw on guide tube holder.
Remove return hose on oil dipstick guide tube.
Remove guide tube upwards.
Installation:
-
Remove sealing ring from oil sump.
-
Coat new sealing ring with anti-friction agent and slide onto
guide tube.
-
Insert guide tube into oil sump.
