Central Information Display (CID)
The CID (Central Information Display) shows the menus for the following functions:

Controller (CON)
The Controller is used to call up the menus shown on the CID (Central Information Display). Press the Controller
to start the function of the menu selected.

To call up start menu i, press the MENU button next to the Controller.

Multi-audio system controller (M-ASK)
Commands received via the MOST are implemented by the M-ASK (multi-audio system controller), for example
the
•
assignment of channels and
•
output of audio signals to the loudspeakers.

Multi-function steering wheel (MFL)
The multi-function steering wheel has buttons for controlling the telephone functions. A call is received or ended
by pressing the transmit/receive button. When a call is accepted using the transmit/receive button, the TCU
switches to hands-free mode.

Emergency loudspeaker
The emergency loudspeaker is only installed in conjunction with option 605 "Basic fittings for telematics".
The emergency loudspeaker is located in the driver's footwell.
In the event of a failure of the MOST bus, voice output via the loudspeakers connected to the M-ASK is no
longer possible.
To ensure that information from the emergency call centre can still be output if an emergency call is triggered
after a failure of the MOST bus, the emergency loudspeaker is connected directly to the TCU.

Emergency call button
An emergency call can be triggered manually with the emergency call button. The emergency call button is
connected directly to the TCU (Telematic Control Unit). The emergency call button is located in the front
headlining.
