Replacing control unit (DDE)
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read fault memory of DDE control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove right microfilter housing
•
Follow instructions for removing and installing control units
Replacement:
•
Code control unit
•
Program control unit
Unlock cover (1) with slide (3).
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove electronics box cover (1).
Installation:
Engage electronics box cover (1) correctly in hinges.
