5 Series E61 525d (M57T2) TOUR
E65 only.
If necessary, remove transmission support block from
transmission.
Mount transmission block on replacement transmission.
Release screws.
Remove transmission support block (1) and exhaust system
bracket (2).
Tightening torque 24 71 6AZ
.
Convert transportation lock (1).
Convert all cable holders.
If necessary, modify cable holder.
Modify release lever for transmission interlock.
Convert all seal plugs.
Convert protective cap on output shaft.
Important!
After removing transportation lock, secure torque converter
against slipping out.
