Removing and installing/replacing left or right
rear light (in side panel)

Important!

Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

•

Partially remove luggage compartment wheel arch trim

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Note:

When releasing nuts (2) and screw (3), grip associated
adjusting element (6) with a suitable tool.

Unscrew nuts (2). Tightening torque  63 21 1AZ

.

Release screw (3). Tightening torque  63 21 2AZ

.

Remove rear light (4) in outwards direction from side panel (5).

Installation:

Observe gap dimensions.

If necessary, adjust rear light (4) to fit by way of adjusting
elements (6).

Replace sealing frame for rear light.
