Removing and installing (replacing) audio
system controller
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove luggage compartment floor trim
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove middle trim for instrument panel
Note:
Comply with notes and instructions on handling optical
waveguides.
Important!
Do not scratch decorative trims (1), cover if necessary.
Release screws (2).
Pull back audio system controller (3) slightly.
Unlock associated plug connections and disconnect.
Remove audio system controller (3).
