Service Booklets: Servicing records/stamp spaces
E60, E61, E63, E64, E65, E66, E67
Situation:
Because of an error during the printing process, the white dots for ticking "yes" or "no" are
missing from the stamp spaces on the "Servicing records" pages of Service Booklets.
Affected vehicles:
E60, E61, E63, E64 (Service Booklet with order number 01 40 0 158 177)
E65, E66, E67 (Service Booklet with order number 01 40 0 158 199)
Manufacturing periods: each from March 2004
Action:
Once stocks have been exhausted, each language will be reprinted with corrected print
data.
Procedure:
When the stamp space is being completed by BMW Service staff, care should be taken to
ensure that the columns "yes" and "no" are clearly ticked as appropriate despite the
absence of the white dots.
Note:
The schedule for reprinting the corrected versions varies according to stocks
remaining in each language. For the majority of languages, the booklets will be
reprinted between calendar weeks 19/2004 and 30/2004. However, all languages
will be corrected no later than calendar week 36/2004 (September 2004), when all
Service Booklets are due for revision.
