Replacing both idle speed actuators (S85)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DME control unit
•
Check stored fault messages
•
Switch off ignition
•
Remove intake air manifold
Release bolt on cable duct (1).
Release nut on cable duct (1).
Tightening torque 12 52 3AZ
.
Unlock plug in V-chamber and disconnect, lay cable duct (1) to
one side.
Release clamp (1) and detach hose from idle speed
actuator (2).
Tightening torque 13 41 2AZ
.
Unscrew nuts.
Tightening torque 13 41 1AZ
.
Pull idle speed actuator (2) in direction of arrow out of cylinder
head.
