Removing and installing/sealing a throttle
valve assembly (S85)
Special tools required:
•
34 3 171
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DME control unit
•
Switch off ignition
•
Follow instructions on connecting and disconnecting battery
•
Disconnect battery negative lead and cover
•
Remove intake air manifold
Removing throttle valve assembly 6:
Unfasten screws. Disconnect injection pipe (1) from throttle valve
assembly.
Remove pull rod (2).
Unlock plug (3) and remove.
