Installing replacement transmission
(GS7S47BG SMG)
Important!
After completing work:
-
Carry out adaptation using DIS Tester, refer to "Service
Functions" in DIS Tester.

Teach in clutch valve characteristic value
-
Adapt SMG transmission completely
-
Teach in clutch slipping point
-
Check transmission oil level.
Use only the approved transmission fluid.

Read out fault memory and clear entered faults.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious
damage to the manual transmission.
Important!
After the running-in phase of 2000 km it is essential to carry
out a transmission oil change.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious
damage to the manual transmission.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping transmission oil. Observe country-
specific waste-disposal regulations.
