6 Series E64 635d (M57T2) CONVER
Open convertible top (1) approximately
45 degrees, until the inner headlining
is completely relieved of any load.
Lightly press the inner headlining (1)
on the left and right away from
convertible top linkage.
Expose and clean the installation
locations (2) of the pieces of felt on the
left and right in the convertible top
linkage.
Peel off the protective film from one
piece of felt (1).
Hold the felt (1) with a pair of pointed
pliers (2) and attach it to the left-hand
convertible top linkage (3) with the
adhesive surface facing down.
Align the felt (1) centrally in the
convertible top linkage and press on.
Attach felt (1) on the right-hand side in
exactly the same way.
Perform function check.
