Replacing front seal on convertible top
compartment lid
Special tools required:
•
00 9 321
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove convertible top compartment lid
Carefully lever seal (1) with special tool
00 9 321 off
convertible top compartment lid (2).
Note:
Clean adhesive residue with adhesive remover (sourcing
reference: BMW Parts Service).
Important!
Do not pull off liner (protective strip for protective film) yet.
Stick adhesive tape (3) at distance (A) to marked edge (2) to
convertible top compartment lid on left/right.
(A) = 13 mm
After sticking on seal (1), remove adhesive tape (3).
