Front-Axle Springs
E38
Situation:
In individual E38 models, it has been identified that a front-axle spring was broken in the
lower spring coil area.
In accordance with the principle of parallel body-vibration response, both springs (on right
and left) must be replaced. In addition, both lower spring washers must be replaced.
Procedure:
1.
Replace both front-axle springs on right and left.
2.
Replace both lower spring washers on right and left.
3.
Send in the removed parts.
