Idling speed state:

Adjustment range:

1)

Idling speed (normal)*

+/- 100 rpm

2)

Idling speed with air conditioner on

+ 100 rpm

3)

Idling speed with low 

battery voltage

+ 100 rpm

4)

Idling speed with air conditioner on and
a drive position selected

+ 100 rpm

5)

Idling speed with a drive position
selected*

* Note: 
At temperatures below <85 

°

C, the engine speed cannot be influenced, it is fixed by

the DME control unit. This engine speed is selected immediately when the throttle
valve is actuated or a drive position selected. However, it can only be adjusted by +/-
100 rpm for the temperature range >85 

°

C.

By selecting the required idling speed state, the program moves on to the adjustment
mask, where the respective specified value can be adjusted.

3rd mask: The current (actual) engine speed and the (specified) engine speed
currently programmed in the DME control unit are displayed.

Note: 
If the idling speed is set higher than 650 rpm, the adaptations must first be cleared
(please refer to Conditions, 4. Adaptations.

The specified engine speed can be increased in steps of 10 rpm by pressing the Y
button, or decreased by pressing the N button.

4th mask: Store adjusted engine speeds

-

5th mask: Confirm engine speed adjustment.

-

When the idling speed modifications have been made, the stored modifications can be
checked again in the 1st mask.
