Cut through both exhaust pipes between catalytic converter and
center muffler on welded seam using grinder.

Note:

Exhaust pipes on center muffler and catalytic converter are
connected together and welded.

Grind away residual welded beads from center muffler.

Remove tube socket from catalytic converter pipes.

Note:

If it is not possible to remove the tube socket from the catalytic
converter pipes, the appropriate length of pipe must be cut off
the new center muffler.
