7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Release clamp (1).
Installation:
Replace clamps (1).
Fuel system must be vented in direction of H.P. pump after
completion of work.
Detach hose (2) and lay to one side.
Caution!
Do not damage sealing faces (2 and 3).
Release chain tensioner (1).
Note:
The position of the camshaft gears to each other does not
influence the function in any way.
The camshaft gears have no markings.
Note:
When releasing screws (1), grip camshafts with open-end
wrench.
Loosen screws (1).
Remove drive gear (2).
