Removing and installing/sealing or replacing
oil-water heat exchanger (M67)

Remove EGR cooler,

refer to 11 71 100.

When the oil filter housing is removed, a residual quantity of
engine oil flows out of the oil filter housing into the coolant
chamber underneath!

To prevent damage to the engine by engine oil in the cooling
system:

Before installing the oil filter housing, you must remove the engine
oil from the coolant chamber as instructed without fail.

Failure to follow this procedure will result in serious engine
damage!

Unscrew bolt (1).

Release union nuts (2).

Tightening Torque,

refer to Technical Data 13 53 8AZ.

Disconnect injection line (3).

Unfasten cable clip (1).

Remove hose holder (2).
