Removing and installing/replacing alternator
(M67)
Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.
Note:
Instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery,
refer to General Information MG 12.
Disconnect negative lead on battery.
Remove underbody panelling at front.
Remove fan cowl,
refer to 17 11 031.
Remove alternator drive belt,
refer to 11 28 010.
Release hose clamp (1) on left pressure pipe (2).
Pull out pressure pipe (2).
