Seal off fuel line (1) between bimetallic valve and fuel filter with
clamping screw (2) of special tool 13 3 010 .

Release hose clamp (1) and detach fuel hose (2).

Note:

Cylinder head cover is removed in this illustration.

Installation:

Replace hose clamp.

Hold fuel hose (1) over container (2).

Call up Service function on DIS Tester and activate presupply
pump.

Note:

Activate presupply pump until

bubble-free fuel emerges.

Connect fuel hose (1) and start engine.

Recycling

Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.

Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
