7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
After detaching the pressure lines, it is absolutely essential to seal
the H.P. pump with protective caps.
The position of the H.P. pump to the valve timing gear does not
influence the function in any way.
Loosen screws (1).
Take off cover (2).
Loosen screws (1).
Remove acoustic cover (2).
Unfasten hose clip (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ.
Pull pressure pipe (2) out of pressure hose.
