Recycling
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Release union nuts (1).
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 53 8AZ.
Remove pressure line (2) between pressure accumulator on left
and fuel rail.
Remove pressure line (3) between pressure accumulator on right
and fuel rail.
Release screws (4).
Raise fuel rail (5) slightly and detach plug from pressure
sensor (6).
Prepare special tool kit 13 5 410.
Screw in special tool 13 5 412 at connection made available of
pressure line (1) on fuel rail.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 53 8AZ.
With special tool 13 5 415, seal connection made available of
pressure line (2) on fuel rail.
Connect plug of pressure sensor (3) to special tool 13 5 411.
Connect free end of special tool 13 5 411 to special tool
13 5 412.
