7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Unfasten cable clip (1).
Unscrew nut (2).
Loosen screws (1).
Remove cover (2).
Clean fuel distributor in area around pressure regulator with cold
cleaner and dry with compressed air.
Remove connector (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 13 53 11AZ.
Pull out pressure regulator at housing by turning by hand.
Caution!
Do not lever pressure regulator out of fuel distributor using tools.
Installation:
Before installing pressure regulator (2), check that sealing rings
(1) and white support ring are correctly seated.
Also check sealing rings (1) and white support ring for damage.
