Removing and installing left intake filter
housing (M67)

Interrogate fault memory in the DDE control unit.

Switch off ignition.

Release hose clamp (1) on intake hose.

Disconnect plug connection (2) on air-mass flow sensor.

Release screw connection on intake filter housing at body.

Remove left intake filter housing (3) together with air-mass flow
sensor.

Installation:

Check seal between air-mass flow sensor and intake hose for
damage, replace if necessary.

Make sure intake filter housing is correctly seated.

Note:

Read out fault memory of DDE control unit.

Check stored fault messages.

Rectify faults.

Then clear fault memory.
