7 Series E38 740d (M67) SAL
Remove front splash guard.
Slacken drain plug (1) at bottom of radiator.
Drain off and catch coolant.
Release drain plugs on left and right of engine block.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 11 5AZ.
Drain off and catch coolant.
Note:
When filling the cooling system, it is absolutely essential to
adhere to the following sequence:
1.
Slowly fill expansion tank (1) with coolant.
2.
Fill expansion tank (1) with coolant right up to edge.
3.
Close vent plug (2) on expansion tank after bubble-free
water emerges.
Vent cooling system,
refer to 17 00 039.
