Removing and Installing Battery Positive Lead for BMW 7 Series E38 740iL (M60-2)
Unfasten cable connector (1).
Remove battery positive lead (3) from lead holders (2).
Unfasten cable clip (2).
Remove battery positive lead from lead holders (1).
Press press-stud fasteners (1...4) in succession and at same time
raise acoustic cover slightly.
Remove acoustic cover once all four press-stud fasteners have
been unlocked.
Installation:
Position acoustic cover and press downwards until press-stud
fasteners (1...4) click into place.
Remove seal caps (2) and release screws.
Remove cover.
Detach battery positive lead from battery positive support point (1).
