Removing and installing rear window

Note:

Glue for cold and hot processing is permissible when gluing
rear window.

Remove and install both panels for rear roof pillar (C-pillar),

refer to 51 43 251.

Cold processing:

Comply with instructions on gluing windows,

refer to 51 31 ...

Warm processing:

Open aluminum membrane at rear end of cartridge.

Place cartridge in cartridge oven.

Heat glue cartridge for one hour in cartridge oven (Sourcing
Reference BMW Parts Service) at 80

°

C.

refer to 51 31 ...

Disconnect right plug connection (1) (locking circuit).
