Caution!

The basic filler must have hardened!

Treat rear window in glued area (A) with BMW-approved materials
(repair kit, Sourcing Reference: BMW Parts Service),

refer to 51 31 ...

Caution!

Note specified ventilation time!

Detach liner (protective strip on adhesive areas) from new
insulating material (1).

Insert insulating material (1) in window frame.

Only when reusing the door window:

If necessary, remove rest of frame.

Remove fabric adhesive tape and clean door window with 2-
propanol.

Using a scalpel, carefully remove glue residue on door window to
a thickness of approx. 0.5 mm.

Treat glued area (1) of door window all around with materials
approved by BMW (repair kit, sourcing reference: BMW Parts
Service),

refer to 51 31 ...
