Connections illustrated here on removed alternator.
Unfasten plug connection (1).
Unfasten nut (2).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 31 1AZ.
Unscrew and remove splash guard.
Unfasten screw on retaining clip on engine mounting arm.
Unfasten screws on guide tube on oil pan.
Unfasten screws from retaining plate on front axle support, unclip
line and remove retaining plate.
