Removing and installing pitman arm
Steering gear removed
Caution!
If the pitman arm is replaced, check the height from the
pitman arm to the idler arm,
refer to 32 21 510.
Before untightening clamping screw (1), mark position of sliding
pitman arm on the segment shaft.
Installation:
Slide pitman arm up to mark. Mark (2) must be located in
centre of pitman arm.
Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 32 21 6AZ.
