Replacing upper steering spindle bearing
Removing steering wheel,
refer to 32 33 000.
Take off collar (1).
Installation:
Check position of collar (1) relative to snap ring (2).
To illustrate more clearly, operation is shown on a removed
steering column.
Lift out snap ring (2) and remove bush (3).
Installation:
Fit bush (3).
Attach snap ring (2) with special tool 32 1 090 and steering
wheel retaining screw, tightening until it engages in groove on
steering spindle.
