7 Series E38 750iL (M73) SAL
Remove foam rubber support, expose welding surfaces.
Caution!
If vapours arise when the foam is removed, extract them and
ensure that the area is well ventilated.
Drill out welding spots and remove C pillar.
Define separating point between wheel arch - outer section / C
pillar - inner section and mark out.
Dimension (A) = 290 mm from edge of rear window aperture.
Dimension (B) = 290 mm from end of gutter.
Support the roof.
Cut through C-pillar along cutting line.
Define separating point in cover for side member and mark out.
Dimension (A) = 110 mm (measured from edge to cover on side
member).
Expose connection points for closing plate in wheel arch.
Drill out welding spots and remove closing plate.
RA Replacing outer section of left or right rear wheel housing (side panel removed)
