Removing and installing/replacing sound
insulation in rear door, left or right
Remove rear door trim,
refer to 51 42 000.
If necessary, remove airbag module in rear door,
refer to 72 12 015.
Unfasten plug connection (1).
Release screws (2) and remove speaker unit.
Remove inside door handle on rear door,
refer to 51 22 225.
Caution!
Do not kink fiber optics cable. The bending radius of the fiber
optics cable must not be less than 20 mm.
Detach central light source (1) from retainer (2).
Disconnect plug connection (3) and detach fiber optics cable (4)
from central light source.
Release screws (1) and remove holder for central light
source (2).
