Replacing bulb for outside door handle light,
front left or right
Remove door trim panel,
refer to 51 41 000.
Caution!
Do not kink fiber optics cable. The bending radius of the fiber
optics cable must not be less than 20 mm.
Detach central light source (1) from retainer (2).
Disconnect plug connection (3) and detach fiber optics cable (4)
from central light source.
Open bayonet lock on central light source.
Remove bulb (1) (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service) from
reflector unit (2) and replace.
