7 Series E38 750iL (M73) SAL
Disconnect plug connector for stratification adjuster of fresh-air
grill above cut-out of removed instrument carrier.
Release connector housing from bracket with screwdriver.
Unfasten screw (1) and remove spacer (2).
Close fresh-air grill.
Press fresh-air grill somewhat upward and first guide in two
special tools 00 9 300 at bottom between fresh-air grill and
instrument panel until retaining hooks (1) audibly release.
Proceed for the upper retaining hooks (1) in the same manner.
The special tools 00 9 300 hold the retaining hooks in the
released position.
