Removing and installing left cylinder head
(M73)
Remove upper section of timing case,
refer to 11 14 102
Remove splash guard.
Remove left and right heat baffle plates on front axle
support.
Unfasten drain plug for coolant on left engine block. Drain and
dispose of coolant.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 11 5AZ
Top up coolant. Bleed cooling system and check for water leaks,
refer to 17 00 039
Remove spark plugs,
refer to 12 12 011
Remove coolant manifold,
refer to 11 53 325
Remove plug connections (1 and 2).
