7 Series E38 L7 (M73) SAL
Lift engine with special tool 00 0 200 approx. 6-8 mm.
Removing guide tube for dipstick,
refer to 11 43 000
Removing lower section of oil pan,
refer to 11 13 020
Relieving load on drive belt of air conditioner and removing
adjusting plate from oil pan,
refer to 11 28 050
Unscrew screw. Remove bracket of hydraulic lines from power
steering pump.
Unfasten and secure power steering pump to prevent hydraulic
lines from being under tension.
Note:
Lines remain connected.
If necessary, remove stud bolt and unfasten upper section of oil
pan.
