Sealing and replacing control valve for left
engine vent (M73)
Unfasten screws (1) and remove control valve.
(illustrated here on removed engine)
Installation:
Fit manifold without control valve.
Control valve must first be fitted to neck (1) on cylinder head
cover, then fitted to sealing face (2) of manifold.
Installation:
On control valve, first press adapter (1) for cylinder head
cover inwards.
Installation:
Fit control valve with fitted adapter (1) into the cylinder head
cover.
Apply good coating of anti-friction agent to adapter (1).
