Removing and installing/replacing accelerator
sensor (M73)
Switch off ignition.
Note:
Whenever the accelerator sensor (PWG) is disconnected,
basic adaptation of the accelerator sensor is required.
Procedure: Connect up DIS and select Diagnosis on EPC-IIIs
control unit, then follow procedure set out in DIS instructions.
Remove lower trim from instrument panel.
Note:
Press accelerator pedal by hand so as to avoid bending the
pedal tip and falsifying the measured values.
Location: The accelerator sensor (1) is fitted to the pedal block.
Unscrew and remove control unit (1) from bracket. Unfasten
screws (2) and remove bracket.
