Replacing heating element for rear heater/air
conditioning.
Remove storage shelf, rear and front
refer to 51 16 239 /51 16 200.
Disconnect water hoses (1).
Caution!
Place a suitable container and cleaning cloth underneath
pipes and catch emerging coolant.
Release union nuts (2) and pull coolant pipes apart. Refrigerant
lines remain connected.
Installation:
Replace O-rings.
Remove insulating material from water valve.
Release screws (1) and remove water valve (2) with feed line.
Note:
Heater/air conditioning remains installed. To simplify
understanding, the heater/air conditioning is shown removed.
