Replacing fuel filter (N42, N62, N40)
Special tools required:
•
13 3 010
Switch off ignition.
If necessary, remove left underbody paneling.
Note:
The fuel pressure regulator is integrated in the fuel filter and
cannot be removed.
In order to avoid incorrect installation, mark fuel lines on fuel filter.
Seal off all fuel hoses on fuel filter with special tool 13 3 010 .
This prevents excessive discharge of fuel from the fuel lines.
