Important!
After completion of work, check transmission oil level.
Use only the approved transmission fluid.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious
damage to the automatic transmission!
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery
•
Remove heater bulkhead (except M57).
•
Hold engine in transmission removal position.

N73/M57: Position transmission lifter underneath.

All others: with special tool 00 0 200
•
Remove exhaust system.
-
M57: after catalytic converter
-
All others: complete
•
Remove oxygen monitor sensors (except M57).
•
Remove front engine underguard
•
Remove reinforcement plate
