Removing and installing/replacing DYNAMIC
DRIVE control unit
Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
•
Remove sensor from A-pillar on right
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Slacken nut (2).
Tightening torque 37 14 24AZ
.
Remove Dynamic Drive control unit towards bottom.
Build date up to 04/2002:
Important!
Check control unit plug when replacing control unit.
If all the pins are connected on the control unit plug, observe
the following:
