Correcting fluid level in hydraulic unit (from
02/2003) for rear lid actuation
(electrohydraulic-fully automatic)
Important!
Do not under any circumstance remove fluid tank from
hydraulic unit.
Use fluid from "Small parts for hydraulic unit" set.
Follow notes and instructions for automatic rear lid actuation
(electrohydraulic-fully automatic).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove hydraulic unit.
Note:
Hoses on hydraulic unit must not be detached.
Have a cleaning cloth and an oil drip tray ready to catch emerging
fluid.
Move hydraulic unit (1) into vertical position.
Release screw (2).
Tightening torque 51 24 2AZ
.
Top up hydraulic fluid through opening.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring.
Check fluid level.
