Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove both sun visors and counter supports
•
Remove all handles
•
Remove both trim panels for roof pillar at front (A-pillar)
•
Remove both trim panels for door pillar (B-pillar, top)
•
Remove both trim panels for roof pillar at rear (C-pillar)
•
Remove rear console insert/make-up mirror in rear
compartment
•
Remove switch for slide/tilt sunroof
•
Remove hands-free microphone
•
Remove both mirror lights
•
Remove insert on front console
E65 only:
•
Remove left front seat
E66 with rear A/C system only:
•
Remove both control elements for rear A/C system
Lever out left expander rivet (1).
