Removing and installing/replacing trim for
lower rear lid
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Open rear lid.
Version with automatic tailgate actuation:
If necessary
Remove switch for automatic rear lid actuation.
Note:
Detaching recessed handle is shown on left side; proceed in same
way for detaching recessed handle on right side.
Lever out cover (1) and remove from recessed handle (2).
Release screw (1).
Version with manual rear lid unlocking:
Detach handle (1) from clip (2).
Disconnect Bowden cable (3) from handle (1).
Installation:
Guide Bowden cable (3) through clip (2) and connect correctly in
handle (1).
