Removing and installing or replacing right
exhaust turbocharger (M67TU)
Special tools required:
•
12 2 100
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Important!
In event of turbocharger damage:
•
Pressure pipes
•
Intercooler
•
Throttle valves
•
Intake air manifold
•
Swirl flaps in intake air manifold
must be checked for foreign bodies, damage and operation.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery
Disconnect battery negative terminal.
•
Secure engine in installation position
•
Lower front axle carrier
•
Remove right diesel particulate filter
